1. Specify and design
Every good switchboard starts with a conversation. We learn about your requirements, your loads and your compliance needs. Then we prepare a general arrangement drawing and send it with project pricing and lead times. Nothing gets built until you’ve approved it.

2. Build and test
Your switchboard is built by our team in New Zealand, by people who take pride in the work. Before it leaves, we carry out Factory Acceptance Testing. You can attend in person or join by Teams, and you receive the results.

3. Pack and ship
We pack it carefully and freight it across the Tasman. Certificates and as-built drawings travel with it, so everything you need is in the container when it arrives.

4. Install and support
Your team handles the install. Our engineers are a phone or video call away to talk through drawings, answer questions and help you reach commissioning with confidence.
It was identified that our existing (40 years old) switchboard was not able to handle our planned expansions to the plant and the solar power installation project. ISL designed and built a new switchboard which was delivered on time to match the completion of the solar panel installation. This was an impressive result considering the multiple difficulties to source parts due to the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 lockdown. The switchboard has run without issues or any need for modifications since the installation.

Laminex’s 40-year-old switchboard couldn’t cope with planned plant expansion and a new solar installation. ISL designed and built a replacement and delivered it on time, to match the completion of the solar installation. This was despite difficulty sourcing parts during the COVID-19 lockdowns. According to the plant manager, it has run without issues or modifications since installation.
Send us your requirements and we’ll come back with a general arrangement drawing, pricing and lead times, including shipping and insurance.
